Tough Runner

As well as being physically challenging, activities will develop student resilience and self-belief, all students are encouraged to overcome each different physical challenge, as they combat the Tough Runner course.

Our event can be tailored to coincide with other events and activities in school, such as:

 

Enrichment and activity weeks

Wellbeing weeks

School sports week

Sports days

Build up to residential trips

Sports Relief

Reward activities

Fund raising events

 

 

Very little! We need access to an outdoor space (ideally grass), access to an outdoor tap/electric (for the slip and slide) and the ability to unload our van next to the activity area. That's it!

 

 

FGS will provide staff to run the event, and we are completely self-sufficient in this regard. 

 

We do encourage class teachers to have a go as well though (see above image!, they don't take much persuading when they see the slip and slide!)

 

This really varies per school, we like to allocate about an hour to each class though, this gives plenty of time to explain the course, and gives children plenty of opportunity to have a go at each challenge. We will be on site for the whole school day.
